Just a quick update:

Dad is here at the hospital.... for 20 more minutes! Both of his surgeons have come up and talked to us today, and have given us the green light to head home!! 96 hours 21 minutes and 08 seconds after he left brain surgery, he is leaving the hospital. If that isn't miracle, then I don't know what is.
Yesterday we were up walking around, talking, even joking with him as we took laps around the nurses station. Tonight, he'll be making jokes as he takes laps around the neighborhood.

It is a miracle that he is leaving so quickly, but the miracles have just begun. More than likely, we will be starting radiation and/or chemo in the next few weeks, so please keep us, especially my Dad in your prayers.
Thank you for all the love and support in the past few days. It has been overwhelming.

Awesome! There's no doubt that we're witnessing a miracle with his swift recovery. Yes, it will be a journey but he has the support from everyone he knows. Keep on fighting Dean!!

This is so great! I'm glad he gets to continue recovering from the comfort of his own home, and not in the hospital anymore! Make sure Dean doesn't do any biking, running, or swimming!! Hide his gear so he's not even tempted!!

What a gift your family has given yourselves and others! A life changing experience recorded and shared, rock solid and real examples of despair and fear replaced by hope and faith, and family solidarity! FYI Dean and the Bullock family has been on the prayer list at MTChoir consistently since the news. I'll have to say it's much easier to pray and fast than shave my head. . .

WOW, that is a testament to both his health and what a lot of faith can do! Great news! I ditto what has been said, watch him closely so he does not try to go running or biking-especially around the hours of about 5 am! OH, and Scott says that is gonna make one sweet scar and Dean will now be the coolest bald man in running group. Scott will gladly hand that title over to him! ;o)
